We did a Wizard of Oz costume theme this year. Brooke watched the movie so she would have some understanding of it all. All week she said “I be Dorothy and Andrew be scarecrow”. So, on Halloween night, our little scarecrow and Dorothy were very cute. They had lots of fun walking up and down the street with lollipops in one hand and chocolate bars in the other. Our neighbors had a block party, which added to the fun. We had a rough time getting good pictures, which was frustrating, but we were able to capture a few. We must get a new camera! While Trick-or-Treating, one of our neighbors had her door propped open with a bowl of candy in the door. Brooke walked up to the bowl and put a piece of candy in her bag and then proceeds to walk into the neighbors foyer (I guess that‘s what she thought she was supposed to do). As we frantically tried to stop our daughter from trespassing, we saw our alarmed neighbor come down her stairs dressed as none other than the wicked witch of the west..arch nemesis of our beloved Dorothy! And the best part of the evening was the adult fun at the neighborhood block party...Happy Halloween!
